ABC's NFL "Monday Night Football," the most successful and longest-running primetime sports series, continues its 35th anniversary season when Brett Favre starts his 200th consecutive game, as his Green Bay Packers host the St. Louis Rams. Coverage from Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, begins MONDAY, NOVEMBER 29, at 9:00 p.m., ET, on the ABC Television Network.

The 2004 MNF regular season continues on MONDAY, DECEMBER 6, as Shaun Alexander and the Seattle Seahawks host Bill Parcells' Dallas Cowboys.

COMMENTATORS:
Emmy Award-winning announcer Al Michaels is now in his 19th consecutive season as the play-by-play voice of "Monday Night Football." Michaels, one of television's most respected journalists, has appeared on live, primetime, over-the-air television more than anyone in the history of the medium, with the approximate total number of hours now approaching 2,000. Michaels was recently honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Joining him for his third season on MNF is the legendary John Madden. Madden recently won his unprecedented 14th Emmy Award for Outstanding Sports Personality/Sports Event Analyst.

New to the MNF team this year is sideline reporter Michele Tafoya, who has been the courtside reporter for ABC's coverage of the NBA Finals the last two seasons.

MICHAELS AND MADDEN MOST POPULAR:
Al Michaels and John Madden were voted the No. 1 favorite NFL announcing team by a TV Guide poll. They were selected No. 1 by 47% of the country. Their closest competitors were the Fox team of Joe Buck, Chris Collinsworth and Troy Aikman, with 24%.

Additionally, in a Sports Illustrated year-long poll to find America's favorite sportscaster, the magazine polled readers from each state, asking among other questions, "Who is your favorite announcer?" "Monday Night Football" analyst John Madden was voted No. 1 in 39 states and No. 2 in 10 states. In all, Madden and partner Al Michaels were voted the top two most popular sportscasters in America.

ST. LOUIS RAMS VS. GREEN BAY PACKERS:
SERIES:
The Rams lead the all-time series between these two franchises 44-39-2. The rivalry dates back to 1937, when the Rams, then in Cleveland, swept the defending league champion Packers with a 35-10 win at Municipal Stadium and a 35-7 win at Green Bay City Stadium. The Rams have won two in a row and three of the last five in this series, including a 2001 NFC Divisional playoff. These two teams met every year from 1937-1971 with the exception of 1943, when the Rams didn't field a team.

St. Louis Rams (5-5, 2nd place in NFC West)
The Rams will play on "Monday Night Football" for the 13th time since the 2000 season. They are 8-4 on MNF in that time, and are 25-24 all-time. The Rams were 1-2 on MNF in 2000, 2-1 in 2001, 2-1 in 2002 and 2-0 last season. This is their second of three MNF appearances this season. They defeated the Buccaneers 28-21 in Week 6 and will host Philadelphia on December 27.

Green Bay Packers (6-4, T-1st place in NFC North)
The Packers have an overall record of 23-20-1 on "Monday Night Football," including a 6-2 record in their last seven games. The Packers have already appeared twice this season on MNF. In week 1 they defeated the defending NFC champion Carolina Panthers 24-14, and then were hammered 48-27 by the Tennessee Titans in Lambeau Field in week 5. The 48 points were the most the Packers have ever allowed to an opponent in the history of Lambeau Field. In week 16 of last season, the Packers defeated the Raiders 41-7, as Brett Favre threw for 399 yards and 4 TDs, one day after the sudden death of his father.

FAVRE'S 200th CONSECUTIVE GAME:
For the MNF opening segment, some of the greatest quarterbacks in the game's history -- including Joe Namath, Steve Young, John Elway, Bart Starr and Peyton Manning -- along with Reggie White, Cal Ripkin, Jr. and actor Ben Stiller, pay tribute to Favre's amazing streak.

LOOK AT HIM GO - HOWARD COSELL'S HALFTIME HIGHLIGHTS:
Before the days of Sportscenter and the internet, fans tuned in to watch halftime of ABC's NFL "Monday Night Football" because that was the only place to get NFL highlights from the previous day's games. Howard Cosell's narration of the halftime highlights became appointment viewing for millions of Americans, including NFL players and coaches. At halftime, ABC Sports will present a feature dedicated to the wildly popular halftie segment. Included in the piece are interviews from NFL Films' Steve Sabol, former MNF producer Don Ohlmeyer, former Jets QB and MNF commentator Joe Namath and legendary coach and current MNF analyst John Madden

The entire schedule of ABC's NFL "Monday Night Football" is available in HDTV.

SKYCAM:
ABC Sports will feature "SkyCam" throughout the season on "Monday Night Football." "SkyCam" is a camera suspended over the field on a series of cables. The camera, which runs both the length and width of the field, will provide viewers with unique angles.
