INTERNATIONAL SINGING SENSATION POP-OPERA QUARTET "IL DIVO" TO PERFORM AT "THE 32ND ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS," LIVE FROM RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL, FRIDAY, MAY 20, ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

International singing sensation pop-opera quartet "Il Divo" will perform at THE 32ND DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS, to be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, Friday, May 20 (9:00-11:00 PM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

"Il Divo's" performance at the ceremony will be backed by a live orchestra, as they introduce one of the major awards of the evening.

The group consists of David Miller, Sebastien Izambard, Urs Buhler and Carlos Marin, who were brought together in December 2003 after a worldwide search by "American Idol's" Simon Cowell. Launched in Britain last fall, the quartet, fluent in four languages, was an overnight success with their self-titled album, which launched in the United States on April 19.

"The romantic overtures of 'Il Divo's' music are a perfect fit with the passion and drama of daytime television," said Al Schwartz, producer of the special. "We're thrilled to have their American primetime debut as a part of our show."

THE 32ND ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS is a presentation of the National Television Academy in cooperation with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The telecast will be produced by dick clark productions, inc.
