JEFF FOXWORTHY HOSTS AN ALL-STAR LINEUP THAT PERFORMS BEFORE THE PRESIDENT AND FIRST LADY, IN "BANK OF AMERICA PRESENTS: AN AMERICAN CELEBRATION AT FORD'S THEATRE -- A SALUTE TO OUR TROOPS," MONDAY, JULY 4, ON ABC

Comedian Jeff Foxworthy ("Blue Collar TV") hosts a dazzling array of stars who entertain the nation's leaders in "An American Celebration at Ford's Theatre." The television special was taped recently in Washington, DC, before a live audience which included President George W. Bush, Mrs. Laura Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, Mrs. Lynne Cheney and many Washington dignitaries. The program will air MONDAY, JULY 4 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

The annual gala benefiting historic Ford's Theatre in Washington, DC, kicks off with Jeff Foxworthy charming the audience with his trademark humor; actress and singing sensation Hilary Duff ("The Perfect Man") entertains with her hit single, "Wake Up"; Josh Gracin, the Marine finalist from "American Idol 2," performs a heartwarming rendition of "The Other Little Soldier"; world-renowned mezzo soprano and vocal artist Denyce Graves captivates the crowd with "I Love a Piano"; actress Geena Davis, star of ABC's new drama, "Commander-in-Chief," reads a poignant letter written by President Lincoln to a grieving mother who lost her sons during the Civil War; Denyce Graves returns to sing "Shenandoah," accompanied by The Official Chorus of the United States Air Force: The Singing Sergeants; CMA Horizon Award nominee Julie Roberts croons a rollicking cover of "When Will I Be Loved"; actor/singer/songwriter Jesse McCartney ("All My Children," "Summerland") sings his hit single, "Beautiful Soul"; The Pendragons perform a feat of spellbinding illusion; young members of the Debbie Allen Dance Academy showcase their extraordinary technique in "Yankee Doodle," choreographed by Ms. Allen; and Bill Conti conducts the American Celebration Orchestra. The entire assembly joins in a rousing July 4th finale of "God Bless America" to salute the men and women serving in our armed services, as well as their families, and the show concludes with remarks by President Bush, paying tribute to the troops.

Gil Cates is the executive producer of "An American Celebration at Ford's Theatre." Dennis Doty is producer and Paul Miller directs. Michael Seligman is associate producer.
