SEASON FINALE

AMERICAS FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS -- NOW THE LONGEST RUNNING PRIMETIME ENTERTAINMENT SHOW IN ABC HISTORY -- CELEBRATES WITH A TWO-HOUR SEASON FINALE EPISODE, FRIDAY, MAY 19

Winner to Take Home $250,000 Prize for Funniest Video Ever

Episode No. 1624 In one for the record books, Americas Funniest Home Videos celebrates its 16th season finale and the amazing fact that the beloved series is now the longest-running primetime entertainment show in ABC history. In a two-hour special season finale edition of the show, airing FRIDAY, MAY 19 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET) and filmed on location in Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL, AFHV counts down to the 20 funniest videos of all time, with the owner of the top video taking away the largest cash prize in the shows history, $250,000.

Tom Bergeron is the host of Americas Funniest Home Videos.

For 16 seasons the series, which has now passed the 350-episode mark, has captured the unexpectedly funny things that happen when adults, children, animals and even inanimate objects are at their spontaneous best. Visitors to Walt Disney World were asked to vote on the 20 best videos of all time and to pick the funniest of all. Among the finalists:

**The Quad Squad Identical quadruplet babies laugh in synch when their dad makes funny noises.

**Chainsaw Brothers Two brothers get a big surprise when their dad awakens them with a chainsaw the morning after they watched Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

**Stinky Finger Chimp -- A chimpanzee puts its finger where it doesnt belong, hilarity ensues.

**Dog Eat Dog A not-too-bright dog tries to attack his own foot when he thinks its after his bone.

**Fake Electrocution Scare A man fixing a light socket pretends to get electrocuted his friend gets even by shoving a banana in his face.

In its 16 seasons to date, Americas Funniest Home Videos has given away over $9 million in prize money and evaluated more than half a million videotapes from home viewers. Viewers wishing to submit home videos to Americas Funniest Home Videos should visit www.abc.com for details.
