A FUN-LOVING MANHATTAN MOM WHO LIKES LOOKING GOOD AND STAYING OUT ALL NIGHT DANCING SWAPS LIVES WITH A STRAITLACED LLAMA-LOVING MOM WHOS UP AT DAWN AND CLEANING OUT THE BARN, ON ABCS WIFE SWAP

This week in Lassell/Nazario, a free-spirited New York City mother who thinks the important things in life are looking good and partying until the wee hours of the morning swaps lives with an authoritative, straitlaced Mom who makes her children rise at dawn to help her raise llamas, on ABCs Wife Swap -- the critically-acclaimed, unscripted reality show that takes us into the intimate heart of the American family home to reveal the extraordinarily different ways families live their lives -- MONDAY, JUNE 12 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. (Rebroadcast. OAD 10/24/05)

Each week, from across the country, two families with very different values are chosen to take part. In a two-week-long challenge, the wives from these two families exchange husbands, children and lives (but not bedrooms) to discover what its like to live a very different womans life. Its a mind-blowing experiment that oftentimes ends up changing their lives forever.

Lilly Nazario (43) lives with her husband, David (42), daughter Lisa (16) and son DJ (13) in their chaotic, downtown New York City apartment. Lilly, along with her tongue pierced daughter, Lisa, are more like college roommates than mother and daughter. The Nazario women both don belly button rings and have a penchant for wearing revealing clothing. Lilly doesnt care to enforce rules or censor her kids, because her time is consumed with going to clubs and keeping up her $300 a week beauty regimen. Lilly cites her strong Catholic upbringing and strict parents as the reason for her lenient parenting method, a complete 180 from her own childhood. The Nazario family motto is: Life is a party.

Lilly ventures to the rural Kentucky llama ranch of Fran Lassell (45) and her husband, Jeff (45). The Lassells believe that a day not working hard is a day wasted. The five Lassell children, aged 4 to 16, rise at the crack of dawn to help with housework, and each child is responsible for the care of a llama. Fran has an extremely strong sense of morals, family values and work ethic. Wholesome television programs are the only family entertainment. Fran keeps a stern eye on her daughters wardrobe. The Lassells believe that dressing inappropriately can provoke impure thoughts. The kids even wear t-shirts over their swimsuits to preserve modesty.

In the first week of the swap, Lilly Nazario realizes shes not cut out to be a ranch hand, the llamas scare her and the high heels she wears arent the best for wading in llama dung. Meanwhile in New York City, newly primped and pampered Fran gets exposed to party life and gets the shock of her life.

In week two of the swap, when the wives change the rules, Lilly bans all chores, buys everyone new clothes and throws a big party for the kids. Fran gives the Nazarios a taste of llama love at a local farm, instills a modest dress code for daughter Lisa, imposes TV restrictions and hands out household chores. At the end of the swap, when the couples are reunited, will their new insights help them change their relationships or are their differences too great to overcome?
