NINE-YEAR BITTER CUSTODY BATTLE FOR AMERICAN BORN CHINESE GIRL, ON ABC NEWS' "20/20," TONIGHT, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 8

For nearly all of her nine years of life, Anna Mae has been at the center of a bitter custody battle between Jerry and Louise Baker, the American parents who have raised her, and Casey and Jack He, her Chinese birth parents on temporary visas in this country. The courts sided with the Bakers for years, and then in a dramatic ruling last year, the Tennessee State Supreme Court ordered that Anna leave the only home she'd every known and go live with her biological parents, who were almost total strangers . The transition, which happened last July, was extremely difficult for Anna Mae. She refused to eat, drink or sleep in the He home, afraid she'd be poisoned or shipped off to China. After several months the two families came together, putting aside the years of bitterness for the love of Anna. But now Anna is facing another traumatic transition: not only has she lost the family she grew up with, she's losing her country too. The He family has to leave the U.S. because their visas have expired. They will return to China with Anna this Saturday just weeks after her reunion with the Bakers. The report airs on "20/20," FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 8 (10:02-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

"20/20" has exclusive interviews with both families sitting together for the first time, plus dramatic home video of Anna's court-ordered departure from the Bakers, as well as both families coming together to celebrate Anna's ninth birthday in January. Jim Avila reports.

Plus: Christianne Ray could possibly be the world's smallest mother. At 2 feet, 9 inches tall, the 20-year-old has a rare form of dwarfism. When she found out she was pregnant with her 6-foot, 4-inch boyfriend Jeremy Bowden's baby, her obstetrician advised her not to continue with the pregnancy, as it could possibly kill her. But despite the risk of death, Christianne and Jeremy decided to have the baby. JuJu Chang reports.

Also: When you pay top dollar for a resort, how much is really included? Chris Connelly reports.

"20/20" is anchored by Elizabeth Vargas and John Stossel. David Sloan is executive producer.
