SEASON FINALE

A WOMAN DEDICATED TO RAISING PIGS AND SHELTERING HER CHILDREN SWAPS LIVES WITH A BELLY DANCING BOHEMIAN WHO BELIEVES IN THE POWER OF THE FEMININE, ON THE SEASON FINALE OF ABC'S "WIFE SWAP"

This week in "Carmichael/Hanna," a woman dedicated to raising pigs swaps lives with an eclectic, artistic belly dancer who lives a life of glamour, on the Season Finale of "Wife Swap," WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Each week from across the country, two very different families take part in a two-week long challenge: The wives exchange husbands, children and lives (but not bedrooms) to discover just what it's like to live in another woman's shoes. It's a mind-blowing experiment that often ends up changing lives forever.

Brandi Carmichael (29) is the matriarch of a family of pig farmers who live in the Nevada mountains. With husband Shaun (33) and children Hope (12), Colten (8), Hayden (4) and Casey (4), they live a simple life of hard work, and traditional roles and values. The family is completely isolated from the big city and has little interaction with other people. In any case, work leaves little time for anything else. Brandi couldn't care less about appearances, as she's too busy taking care of the pigs, running the house and home-schooling her children. But eldest daughter Hope does; she likes makeup and clothes and dreams of being a singer/songwriter. The family just don't understand her artistic ways.

Brandi travels to the bright lights of New York, where the Hanna family, wife Jehan (38), husband Hanna (50) and daughter Serena (10), live in an apartment that looks like the inside of a genie bottle. Jehan is a professional belly dancer, artist, singer and goddess' who expresses her beauty and sensuality through costume and performance. She's so immersed in her art, she has no time for housework, so chores are split between her belly dance students and Hanna. Serena is smothered with love and has no responsibilities or chores, but instead is shuttled by town car to dance/acrobatic lessons and recording studios, doing her homework en route. The Hannas honor the "divine feminine energy"; they keep altars to goddesses and angels, and Serena believes in fairies. Hanna treats his women like princesses, shelling out $200 dollars a day on cabs, take out and Serena's classes.

In the first week of the swap, Brandi goes from burly to Bohemian and performs a belly dance in front of a Manhattan crowd. Jehan gets her hands dirty on the pig farm and works hard as a stay-at-home mom. In the second week, when the wives change the rules and turn the tables, Brandi tries to teach the value of hard work by making the Hannas work on a farm. For her part, Jehan tries to persuade Shaun to embrace the feminine, and frees Hope's artistic spirit by helping her record her first song. At the end, when the couples are reunited, will Brandi reconsider her spartan farm life and keep belly dancing? Will Jehan come down to earth and help husband Hanna around the house?
