"THE PRICE IS RIGHT SALUTES THE TROOPS," A PRIMETIME SPECIAL HOSTED BY DREW CAREY, FEATURING MEMBERS OF THE ARMED SERVICES AND THEIR FAMILIES, TO BE BROADCAST FRIDAY, NOV. 14 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

THE PRICE IS RIGHT SALUTES THE TROOPS, a primetime special hosted by Drew Carey, featuring an audience made up entirely of members of the Armed Services and their families, will be broadcast Friday, Nov. 14 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The special will also air for the first time in December on the American Forces Network, which provides radio and television programs to almost one million servicemen and women and their family members overseas and aboard ships at sea.

The audience will be seated in the studio according to their military affiliation, and each branch of service is guaranteed to have one contestant eligible to make it on stage at all times. In addition, the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band from San Diego, Calif. will perform during the show.

"THE PRICE IS RIGHT SALUTES THE TROOPS is one of the best shows we've ever done," said Carey, a former Marine Reservist. "I couldn't be more proud to be a part of it."

THE PRICE IS RIGHT, the longest-running game show in television history, is hosted by Drew Carey. Produced by FremantleMedia North America, THE PRICE IS RIGHT is broadcast weekdays (11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET; 10:00-11:00 AM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.
