In one star-studded night, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel gets up close and personal with celebrities from the world of television, sports, film and music in a special encore presentation of "Jimmy Kimmel's Big Night of Stars," SATURDAY, AUGUST 29 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) (OAD: 9/21/08). Fourteen-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps, Academy Award� nominee Salma Hayek and comedian Tracy Morgan sit down with Jimmy for unforgettable, in-depth interviews. Other appearances include cameos by Martin Short, Jon Hamm, Kobe Bryant, Rachael Ray, William Shatner, Regis Philbin and many more. This broadcast also features Jimmy's hilarious staring contest and duet with "LOST" star Matthew Fox, as they compete for the title of "Gorgeous Man" (OAD: 5/13/09).

In this hour-long special, Jimmy steps out of his studio to spend one-on-one quality time with each celebrity -- delving deep to pose the hard-hitting questions few broadcasters dare to ask. With a rare introduction from Barbara Walters, Jimmy's primetime show goes on-location with the stars and includes Michael Phelps making a rare cameo appearance on the set of hit show "Grey's Anatomy." Plus, with the help of numerous celebrity friends, Jimmy answers the age-old question of just how Emmy Award nominees get notified of their honor.

Packed with hilarious comedy bits and a house band led by Jimmy's childhood best friend, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" features a diverse lineup of guests that includes celebrities, athletes, musicians, comedians and humorous human interest subjects.
