"20/20" Anchor Chris Cuomo has an exclusive interview with the woman Joran van der Sloot reached out to just days before he allegedly murdered a Peruvian woman. What did he want and why is she coming forward now? "20/20" also sees inside the never-before-seen diary, which includes love letters, poems, souvenirs and photographs, that she kept during their seven-month romance. The exclusive report airs on "20/20" on FRIDAY, JUNE 18 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Also: John Quiones takes a look at the rough and violent prison in Peru where Joran van der Sloot is now living, as well as an even harsher one where he may end up.

And: From eerie premonitions to signs and sightings, many relatives of September 11th victims describe experiencing strange spiritual encounters with their lost loved ones. Deborah Roberts reports on these families and the woman who wrote a book after discovering she was not alone in receiving messages from beyond the grave.

Plus: Alexa Ray Joel may be best known for being the daughter of music legend Billy Joel and supermodel Christie Brinkley. But she has had quite a journey - including a highly publicized overdose - finding her own voice and her own way. She talks candidly to Chris Cuomo at a Manhattan recording studio about the pills she took last December after suffering from "heartbreak-related depression," her recent nose job, her new album coming out this summer, and the unique experience of growing up in the shadow of her famous parents.

"20/20" is anchored by Elizabeth Vargas and Chris Cuomo. David Sloan is executive producer.
