NEW YORK, January 26, 2011 - Patrice O'Neal delivers a masterful reality check filled with thought-provoking laughter in his first one-hour stand-up special, titled "Patrice O'Neal: Elephant in the Room." This World Premiere, an original COMEDY CENTRAL one-hour stand-up special, debuts on Saturday, February 19 at 10:00 p.m.

In brutally hilarious fashion, Patrice O'Neal reveals the unspoken truths about the value of white women, cheating, safe sex and the need for an official Harassment Day in his original one-hour stand-up special, filmed in New York City. Known to many from XM Radio's Opie and Anthony Show, in addition to being a longtime COMEDY CENTRAL favorite ("Shorties Watchin' Shorties," "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn"), O'Neal gets away with saying what viewers wouldn't even dare to think.

Leading up to the on-air premiere, Jokes.com will feature preview clips from the special.

On Tuesday, February 22, "Patrice O'Neal: Elephant in the Room" stand-up special will be released nationwide on DVD by COMEDY CENTRAL Home Entertainment. The DVD, extended and uncensored, contains over 45 minutes not included in broadcast and features bonus materials including deleted scenes and O'Neal's full-length "COMEDY CENTRAL Presents" performance.

"Patrice O'Neal: Elephant in the Room" stand-up special is produced by Jonathan Brandstein, Patrice O'Neal and Irwin Entertainment. JoAnn Grigioni is the executive in charge of production for COMEDY CENTRAL.

Patrice O'Neal has appeared on "Late Night with Conan O'Brian" multiple times and has performed stand-up at the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Festival and the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. He has guest-starred on numerous television shows, including Fox's critically- acclaimed "Arrested Development" and NBC's "The Office," and has provided voices for Noggin's "O'Grady High." Feature film credits include Spike Lee's "The 25th Hour," "In The Cut" with Meg Ryan and "Head of State" with Chris Rock. O'Neal has had half-hour specials on Showtime, COMEDY CENTRAL and HBO.
