A FAMILY TARGETED - A WIFE AND SONS MURDERED - WHO WANTED THEM DEAD? "THE WRITING ON THE WALL"

Maureen Maher and the 48 HOURS team investigate the murders of the wife and two young sons of a bodyguard for a well-known televangelist in an updated edition of "The Writing on The Wall," to be broadcast March 30, 2013 (10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

48 HOURS: "The Writing on the Wall" focuses on the investigation into May 2009 deaths of Sheri Coleman and her sons Garett and Gavin. Christopher Coleman, then the head of security for televangelist Joyce Meyer, asked a neighbor to check on his family after calls to his wife Sheri went unanswered. Coleman was concerned because for months police had been investigating death threats he said he had received because he worked for Meyer.

The neighbor, an off-duty cop, found the bodies. Police then spotted spray-painted messages on the wall, with the phrases "You have paid" and "Punished." The investigation uncovered an illicit affair Coleman had with a friend of his wife. The couple had plans for a future after a divorce. Two weeks later, Christopher Coleman was charged with murder. He insisted his wife and kids were killed by whoever sent the threats.

Maher interviews investigators, prosecutors and defense attorneys, family members and jurors to piece together the Coleman murders. This updated edition of 48 HOURS: "The Writing on the Wall" is produced by Sara Hulse and Clare Friedland. Linda Martin and Suzanne Allen are the update producers. Anthony Batson is the senior broadcast producer. Susan Zirinsky is the senior executive producer.
