AMC IS "GEEKING OUT" AT COMIC-CON(R) INTERNATIONAL WITH A SPECIAL EPISODE OF THE NEW LATE-NIGHT TALK SHOW HOSTED BY KEVIN SMITH AND GREG GRUNBERG AIRING SUNDAY, JULY 24 AT 10 PM ET/PT

The final episode of AMC's "Hell on Wheels" airs Saturday, July 23rd at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. In the series finale entitled, "Done," the golden spike, government hearings, and unpredictable actions mean new beginnings and endings for the survivors of Hell on Wheels.

The last seven episodes of "Hell on Wheels" is the end of the line for Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) and his work on America's first transcontinental railroad. The final push to finish brings with it a reckoning for Bohannon and the men standing in his path: the bloodthirsty Swede (Christopher Heyerdahl); the mercenary Chang (Byron Mann); and the rapacious Thomas Durant (Colm Meaney). Bohannon contends with corruption, greed and murder as he leads the trek to complete the final stages of the building of the railroad from the Central Pacific through the Sierras and across the Utah desert to Promontory Point. While the railroad's completion is certain, who and what will survive when the golden spike is finally planted remains in question - with no one more at risk than Cullen Bohannon.

The penultimate episode of AMC's limited series, "The American West," airs Saturday, July 23rd at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. On the episode entitled, "Frontier Justice" - executive produced by Robert Redford and Stephen David, and directed by John Ealer - Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett's cat-and-mouse game comes to a head. Wyatt Earp moves to Tombstone and Sitting Bull returns to America.

Spanning the years 1865 to 1890, "The American West," shows how - in the aftermath of the Civil War - the United States transforms into the "land of opportunity." Viewers are transported into the violent world of cowboys, Indians, outlaws and law men. The 8-episode limited event series chronicles the personal, little-known stories of Western legends such as Jesse James, Billy the Kid, Wyatt Earp, Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull. The series features exclusive interviews with notable names from classic Western films, including Redford, James Caan, Burt Reynolds, Tom Selleck, Kiefer Sutherland, Mark Harmon, Ed Harris and more.

The penultimate episode of season one of AMC's "Preacher" airs Sunday, July 24th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. On the episode entitled, "Finish the Song" - written by Craig Rosenberg and directed by Michael Slovis - Jesse is on the run while those around him face life-altering decisions. The Cowboy returns to Ratwater to exact his revenge.

Based on the popular cult comic book franchise of the same name, "Preacher" is a supernatural, twisted and darkly comedic drama that follows a Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power: the ability to make people do his bidding with just a word. Once this power attracts the attention of two mysterious angels (Fiore and DeBlanc), Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip, and an Irish vampire named Cassidy are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.

The Sony Pictures Television and AMC Studios co-production was developed for television by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg ("This Is the End," "Superbad," "Neighbors") and showrunner Sam Catlin ("Breaking Bad").

AMC's new late-night talk show, "Geeking Out" will premiere with a special episode on Sunday, July 24 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT focusing on all things Comic-Con(R) International: San Diego. Hosted by Kevin Smith ("Comic Book Men," "Clerks") and Greg Grunberg ("Heroes, "Lost," "Alias," "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" and graphic novel Dream Jumper), the 30-minute show takes a timely look at pop culture through a fanboy lens and features talk, celebrity interviews and out-of-the-studio segments.

In this special episode, Smith makes a pre-Comic-Con(R) pit-stop in Las Vegas to visit his friend Matt Damon and discuss the eagerly awaited new installment of the "Bourne" franchise, "Jason Bourne." Smith and Grunberg then head to San Diego and will give viewers an all-access VIP pass through the convention, including a conversation with Oscar(R)-winning composer Michael Giacchino, who gives Grunberg a preview of "Star Trek Beyond" IMAX and a first-look at the live orchestra that will perform along with the film. Our hosts will then hit the convention floor to chat with some of the biggest graphic novel creators and artists, and get an inside look at the other stars of Con culture: cosplayers.

"Geeking Out," an AMC and The Weinstein Company co-production, is produced by Matador Content in association with Bandwagon Media with Jerry Carita, Jay Peterson, Todd Lubin, Patrick Reardon, Brad Savage, Smith and Grunberg serving as executive producers.
