"Lockdown" - When a mysterious package is found at City Hall, everyone is ordered to stay inside but tensions rise after Courtney discovers his team hasn't been completely honest with him that culminates in a rap battle between Courtney and Jermaine. Meanwhile, Dina sets out to make Ed Gunt open up about himself during the lockdown which leads to a surprising result on an all-new episode of "The Mayor," airing TUESDAY, JAN. 9 (9:30-10:00 p.m. EST), on the ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

The series stars Brandon Micheal Hall as Courtney Rose, Lea Michele as Valentina Barella, Bernard David Jones as Jermaine Leforge, Marcel Spears as T.K. Clifton and Yvette Nicole Brown as Dina Rose.

Guest starring David Spade as Ed Gunt.

"Lockdown" was written by Sabrina Jalees and directed by Jay Chandrasekhar.

"The Mayor" was created by Jeremy Bronson ("Speechless," "The Mindy Project," "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon"). Jeremy Bronson, Daveed Diggs (Tony(R) winner for Broadway's "Hamilton"), Jamie Tarses ("Happy Endings") and James Griffiths ("black-ish") also serve as executive producers.
