NBC'S 'DEAL OR NO DEAL' KICKS OFF THE SEASON WITH DONALD TRUMP AS THE BANKER, AN NFL EXTRAVAGANZA AND A MILLION DOLLAR MISSION -- AND ONE LUCKY HOME VIEWER WILL WIN A MILLION DOLLARS!

BURBANK - August 16, 2007 - NBC's hit game show "Deal or No Deal," starring Howie Mandel, kicks off its third season Monday, Sept. 17 with special guest Donald Trump and an unprecedented one million dollar Play At Home Lucky Case Game, where one lucky viewer at home is guaranteed to win one million dollars. In addition, "Deal or No Deal" celebrates Sunday Night Football with NFL Hall of Famers on Wednesday, Sept. 19, before moving to its regular Wednesday / Friday schedule on Sept. 26, with a "Million Dollar Mission" - where each game will have one additional one million dollar case, until someone wins a million dollars, up to a six-one million dollar case game.

When Nashville contestant Donna DiBiase takes the stage in the premiere episode on Monday, Sept. 17 (8-9 p.m. ET), she is surprised to discover that the Banker is still on summer vacation! She didn't have to wonder long who will be making her the offers when, for the first time ever, the Banker's Office is opened, and the ultimate New York deal-maker himself, Donald Trump, is revealed as the surprise guest banker for the night.

Then on Wednesday, Sept. 19 (8-9 p.m.), it's an NFL extravaganza when the set is transformed to look like a field, the models appear in fitted football jersey dresses, and eight NFL Hall of Famers, Marcus Allen, Wayne Chrebet, Terrell Davis, Eric Dickerson, Marshall Faulk, Jerry Rice, Kordell Stewart and Rod Woodson, join contestant and Indianapolis Colts super-fan George Barnes as "Deal or No Deal" celebrates Sunday Night Football Night. In addition, during the show viewers will be notified that they can bid on footballs, helmets and other items that these legends had signed, with the proceeds to benefit the Players Dire Need Fund (www.nflauction.nfl.com).

In addition, one lucky viewer at home will have a chance to win one million dollars, which would be paid out as an annuity, with the "Play at Home Lucky Case Game," a live interactive game where viewers can text on their cell phones or by logging onto the "Deal or No Deal" website at www.nbc.com/DOND. This unprecedented $1 million game will be open during the premiere and second episode, and Howie Mandel will name the lucky winner live on Wednesday, September 26. Also, in this episode, the show will begin its "Million Dollar Mission" to give away one million dollars to one of the contestants. Each game will add an additional $1 million case to increase the odds for the contestant to pick a million dollar case, up to six $1 million cases.

Following the premiere week, "Deal or No Deal" will air Wednesday s (8-9 p.m. ET) and Fridays (8-9 p.m. ET) on a weekly basis in its regular time periods beginning Wednesday, September 26.

Hosted by Howie Mandel, "Deal or No Deal" is an international hit game show from Endemol USA. Contestants on the show play for a top prize of $1 million in a high-energy match of nerves, instincts and raw intuition. Each night, the game of odds and chance unfolds when a contestant faces 26 sealed briefcases containing anything from a measly penny to $1 million. Without knowing the amount in each briefcase, the contestant picks one -- his to keep, if he chooses, until its unsealing at game's end. The game kicks into high gear when the amount of cash in each case is revealed to the contestant round-by-round - and is tempted after each round by a mysterious entity known only as "the Banker" to accept an offer of cash in exchange for what might be contained in the contestant's chosen briefcase -- prompting Mandel to ask the all-important question -- "Deal or No Deal"?

Based on the successful format from Endemol that has aired in over 40 countries, "Deal or No Deal" is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding. David Goldberg is the president of Endemol USA. The series is executive-produced by Scott St. John.
