Ben Davis Named Vice President of Scripted Development

Susan Goldberg Named Vice President of Production

New York, NY - August 17, 2010 - AMC announced today two promotions in the network's original programming department. Ben Davis has been named vice president of scripted programming; he was formerly director of development and current programming. Susan Goldberg has been named vice president of production; she was formerly director of production. Davis continues to help manage the department's development slate, as well as oversee the creative for several of AMC's current series in production. Goldberg continues to manage all aspects of physical production for the network's scripted series and pilots. Based in LA, Davis continues to report to Susie Fitzgerald, AMC's SVP of scripted programming. Based in NY, Goldberg, who will ultimately report to the new SVP of production, is reporting in the interim to Joel Stillerman, AMC's SVP of original programming, production and digital content.

"Ben and Susan have been an integral part of AMC's original programming team," said Stillerman. "Ben's experience in script development was an asset to the network as it made its foray into original programming. Susan's supervision of AMC's original pilots and series has resulted in stellar programming for the network. Their insights ensure that the network continues to identify, develop, and produce high-quality cinematic, programming that has come to define AMC."

Davis is currently managing development on AMC's original series, Breaking Bad and Rubicon,, and the upcoming The Walking Dead, in addition to AMC's newest series formerly known as The Killing, which was just greenlit, as well as the network's current pilot, Hell On Wheels. He has served as the current executive for both Mad Men and Breaking Bad since each series' debut. Before joining AMC in 2004, Davis worked at Scout Productions.

Goldberg is currently managing production on Mad Men, which is currently in its fourth season, and The Walking Dead, which will debut on AMC in October as part of its popular FearFest movie franchise. In addition, Goldberg managed production on the pilot for AMC's newest greenlit series formerly known as The Killing, and current pilot Hell on Wheels, which is slated to begin production later this month. She will also oversee production of Breaking Bad Season 4. Goldberg was part of the team that helped usher in AMC's scripted original programming beginning with Broken Trail and she has been involved in the production of both Breaking Bad and Mad Men since their inception, working on both pilots and serving as the network's production executive on both series since their first seasons. Before joining AMC in 2004 Goldberg worked at Miramax Films.

Ben Davis earned a Bachelor of Science Management degree from the A.B. Freeman School of Business, at Tulane University.

Susan Goldberg earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Washington University.

AMC Names Allison Hoffman Vice President, Creative & Brand Strategy

New York, NY - August 17, 2010 - AMC announced today that it has named Allison Hoffman to the position of Vice President, Creative & Brand Strategy, a newly created position. Hoffman joined AMC in 2005 as Director of Consumer Marketing for the network. In her new position, Hoffman reports to Linda Schupack, Senior Vice President of Marketing. The announcement is effective immediately.

In her new role, Hoffman will serve as a key creative strategist and will be part of the team responsible for establishing and developing a comprehensive and ever-evolving brand position and ensuring creative consistency and quality across all off-air media and constituents.

"Ali came on board at a critical time for AMC - just as the network was making its transition into original programming. She's both a great creative and strategic thinker who has been central to AMC's award-winning marketing campaigns, kicked off by Broken Trail and most recently Mad Men and Rubicon," said Schupack. "In her new position, she will expand her responsibilities while continuing to bring her enormous talents to the network."

Hoffman has worked on consumer marketing for AMC originals Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Prisoner and Rubicon, as well as the Emmy and Golden-Globe award campaigns for AMC's original productions. She was also a member of the team that developed and implemented AMC's brand positioning, "Story Matters HereSM."

Prior to joining AMC, Hoffman was an Account Planning Director at Ziccardi Partners, a New York-based advertising agency. She has also held positions at Brand Leadership and Mitchell Madison Group. Hoffman received a Bachelor of Science from Brown University.
