WE tv's First Scripted Series, The Divide, Premieres This July

NEW YORK, NY - April 10, 2014 - WE tv today announced an ambitious slate of unscripted original programming for 2014/15 including a one-hour pilot of "Charlie Sheen's Bad Influence," a fun, relationship-based competition show. The network also greenlit the new series "Match Made In Heaven," "Mystery Millionaire" and "David Tutera's CELEBrations" and renewed the popular shows "Kendra on Top," "Marriage Boot Camp" and the "Braxton Family Values" spinoff "Tamar & Vince," further strengthening WE tv's line-up of unscripted programming focused on strong, relatable characters set against the backdrop of dramatic, real-life situations.

In addition to the network's growing unscripted efforts, WE tv will debut its first original scripted series, "The Divide," this July.

WE tv is off to a solid start in 2014. Its newest breakout hit "SWV Reunited" averaged 1.2 million viewers and the popular docu-series "Mary Mary" is currently delivering 1.1 million viewers per episode. On Thursday nights, WE tv ranks as a top women's network due to its successful line-up of original programming, and the network has significantly expanded its social media following and presence over the last year.

The new and returning series announced today will debut on WE tv over the next year along with the previously announced fourth season of "Braxton Family Values," second season of "SWV Reunited," and the new series "Love Thy Sister" debuting this summer.

"Successful television networks are built on good shows, and we are excited about these new and returning originals as we continue to build on WE tv's strong momentum, engage both new and existing viewers and expand our audience base," said Marc Juris, WE tv president. "We are focused on delivering unique concepts and characters that break through the clutter, are buzz worthy and deepen engagement with the network, both on air and online."

NEW PILOT

"Charlie Sheen's Bad Influence"

Before they can become newlyweds, couples need to try their hand at "Charlie Sheen's Bad Influence." America's favorite bad boy puts engaged couples to the ultimate test by challenging how well they think they know their intended. The pilot is currently in production in Los Angeles.

Produced for WE tv by Escape Reality and Estevez Sheen Productions. Executive produced by Charlie Sheen for ESP Productions; Steve Tisch, Laura Fuest Silva and Frank Sutera for Escape Reality and Bob Maron of New Epic Entertainment.

NEW SERIES

"Match Made in Heaven" (8 x 60; debuts in 2015)

When looking for a wife, who better to turn to than the perfect matchmaker: the person with the power to marry you? One wealthy bachelor will put his faith in a dynamic preacher to help him find "the one." With 22 diverse bachelorettes all vying for his heart, the preacher tests the girls to uncover their true intentions as he guides the bachelor to see the light, pick the right girl, and find his "Match Made in Heaven."

"Mystery Millionaire" (6 x 60; premieres May 30 at 10 pm)

When you're wealthy, the world is your playground. Luxury cars, fine restaurants, and five-star travel are commonplace. But how good is the "good life" if you don't have someone to share it with? WE tv's "Mystery Millionaire" is a social dating experiment like no other where wealthy bachelors (and bachelorettes) who've been unlucky in love go undercover as average singles in search of their soul mates. When the million-dollar lie is finally revealed, no two singles respond the same. Can they move past it into relationship bliss or will deceit tear them apart?

Produced for WE tv by All3Media America/Studio Lambert and executive produced by Eli Holzman, Stephen Lambert, Aaron Saidman and Chris McKim. Lauren Gellert and Annabelle McDonald are the executive producers for WE tv.

"David Tutera's CELEBrations" (8 x 60; premieres August 1 at 9 pm)

Called the "Best Celebrity Wedding Planner" by Life & Style magazine, David Tutera is the king of celebrity events. Initially launched as "My Fair Wedding with David Tutera," WE tv retooled the show last season to focus on more than just weddings, attracting more viewers to the series than ever before. In the show's next iteration, "David Tutera's CELEBrations," David's jaw-dropping work for his Hollywood clients takes center stage. From weddings to birthday parties and everything in between, David and his dedicated event team will plan rapper Lil Kim's baby shower, an over-the-top wedding for former "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member, Taylor Armstrong, and a birthday party for WWE Diva turned pop star, Amy Weber's five-year-old twins.

Produced for WE tv by Pilgrim Studios and executive produced by Craig Piligian and Melodie Calvert. David Tutera is a co-executive producer on the show. Lauren Gellert and Kate Farrell are the executive producers for WE tv.

RETURNING SERIES

"Kendra on Top" Season 3 (12 x 30, 2 x 60; premieres fall 2014)

In season two of "Kendra on Top," viewers witnessed Kendra's adventures as she juggled her role of wife and mom with the temptations of her fast-paced celebrity lifestyle. In season three, baby number two arrives while Kendra is at odds with her mom and brother and is now finally willing to confront a crucial piece of her missing childhood. The second season grew +46% among viewers over season one*. Production is currently underway in Los Angeles.

Produced for WE tv by Prometheus Entertainment and executive produced by Kevin Burns with Kim Sheerin, Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett and Hank Baskett serving as co-executive producers. Lauren Gellert and Suzanne Murch are the executive producers for WE tv.

"Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" (8 x 60; premieres spring 2014)

In the newest season of WE tv's popular "Marriage Boot Camp" franchise, some of TV's most famous reality stars are pushed to the limit, emotionally and physically, to see if their relationships are worth saving or determine if it's time to call it quits. Joining the Boot Camp house and in desperate need of relationship therapy from husband and wife counseling team Jim and Elizabeth Carroll, are: Jenni "JWoww" Farley and fiancé Roger Matthews ("Jersey Shore," "Snooki & JWoww"); Trista & Ryan Sutter ("The Bachelor," "The Bachelorette"); Gretchen Rossi and fiancé Slade Smiley ("The Real Housewives of Orange County"); Traci Braxton and Kevin Surratt ("Braxton Family Values"); and Tanisha Thomas and Clive Muir ("Bad Girls Club"). The five couples are forced to dig deep and put in the hard work necessary to save their relationships while checking their celebrity at the door. It's up to them to decide if love trumps all as they participate in some of the most jaw-dropping exercises and drills, specifically designed to figure out what is crippling their relationships.

Produced for WE tv by Thinkfactory Media and executive produced by Adam Freeman, Adam Reed, Scott Teti and Leslie Greif. Lauren Gellert and Suzanne Murch are the executive producers for WE tv.

"Tamar & Vince" Season 3 (10 x 60; premieres fall 2014)

"Tamar & Vince" spotlights the youngest Braxton sister, Tamar, and her husband/manager, Vince. During the second season, viewers followed Tamar's burgeoning solo career, the release of her album "Love and War" and the birth of her first child - Logan Vincent Herbert. The second season delivered 1.1 million total viewers to WE tv, up +29% over season one*.

In season three, Tamar works to expand beyond just being a successful recording artist, performer and mother. She is capitalizing on her hugely successful album drop by planning her first solo tour and working on a second album, while also beginning a new gig as a talk show co-host and trying to explore feature film work and developing a project for daytime TV. As Tamar's empire expands, with Vince at the helm, they realize serious communication issues are threatening everything they've worked so hard for, both at home and professionally.

Produced for WE tv by Magical Elves Productions and executive produced by Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Julio Kollerbohm, Michelle Kongkasuwan, Tamar Braxton and Vincent Herbert. Lauren Gellert and Annabelle McDonald are the executive producers for WE tv.

FIRST SCRIPTED SERIES

"The Divide" (8 x 60; premieres July 2014)

"The Divide" follows an impassioned caseworker with The Innocence Initiative, Christine Rosa, (Marin Ireland: "Homeland," "Boss," "Side Effects") as she delves into the case of a death row inmate whom she believes was wrongly convicted of a young family's heinous murder 11 years earlier. As she chases down new evidence in her search for the truth, Christine confronts an equally passionate district attorney, Adam Page (Damon Gupton: "The Newsroom," "Prime Suspect"), whose view of justice is colored by shades of gray. Adam's actions put a strain on his marriage to Billie Page (Nia Long: "The Best Man Holiday," "House of Lies"), a powerhouse corporate attorney at a crossroads in her personal and professional life.

"The Divide" is produced by AMC Studios, written by the Academy(R) Award and Emmy(R) Award nominated Richard LaGravenese ("Behind the Candelabra," "The Fisher King," "Water for Elephants," "The Ref," "The Bridges of Madison County") and co-created and executive produced by LaGravenese and Tony Goldwyn ("Conviction," "Justified," "Damages," "Dexter," "A Walk on the Moon"). Emmy(R) Award winner John Tinker ("The Practice," "Chicago Hope") serves as executive producer and showrunner on the series; Andrew Sugerman ("Shopgirl," "Conviction") serves as co-executive producer.
