ABSOLUTE ZERO (Syfy, New!) - Michael Horowitz ("Burn Notice") is developing a new futuristic thriller at the cable channel about "the denizens of a remote mining colony who discover a dangerous new species on a moon of Jupiter, setting off the first stage of an alien invasion ultimately heading for Earth." Universal Cable Productions is behind the hour with Doug Liman, David Bartis and Gene Klein of the studio-based Hypnotic also serving as executive producers. (Deadline.com)


AQUARIUS (NBC; W: John McNamara; D: Jonas Pate) - Tara Lynne Barr is the latest addition to the upcoming drama, about the cat and mouse game between serial killer Charles Manson (Gethin Anthony) and the two cops tracking him, Sam Hodiak (David Duchovny) and Brian Shafe (Grey Damon), in 1960s Los Angeles. She's set as Katie, "one of Manson's adoring acolytes, who helps him lay a trap for the unwitting Emma, and later joins in the party when Manson deflowers his new recruit." Ambyr Childers, Beau Mirchoff, Chance Kelly, Chris Sheffield, David Meunier, Emma Dumont, Gaius Charles and Michaela McManus also star. (Deadline.com)
