BLINDSPOT (NBC, New!) - Martin Gero ("The L.A. Complex") has set up a new drama at the Peacock about "an FBI agent who is drawn into a complex conspiracy when a naked amnesiac is found in Times Square covered in fresh tattoos... including his name on her back." Said effort, which has a penalty attached, comes from the Warner Bros. Television-based Berlanti Productions with the company's Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter also executive producing. DOWN DOG (Amazon; W: Robin Schiff; D: TBA) - Paget Brewster ("Criminal Minds") has joined the cast of the comedy pilot, about Logan (Josh Casaubon), "a laid-back, charming surfer who is left in charge of his ex-girlfriend's yoga studio." She'll play said ex, Amanda, in the project. (TVLine.com)


LIMIT, THE (SundanceTV, New!) - Michael Cannell's racing book - which "tells the story of Phil Hill, a California mechanic who in 1960 became the first American-born driver to win the Grand Prix, racing in an era of glamor, valor and daring" - is being developed as a drama at the cable channel. "Grey's Anatomy" star Patrick Dempsey and Joannie Burstein will also executive produce via their Shifting Gears Entertainment banner, which recently inked an overall deal with ABC Studios. MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE, THE (Amazon; W: Frank Spotnitz; D: David Semel) - Luke Kleintank is the first to be cast in the drama pilot, based on Philip K. Dick's Hugo Award-winning novel - about an alternate history in which the Axis Powers occupy the United States, where fascism rules and the few surviving Jews hide under assumed names. He'll play Joe Blake, "an all-American guy living in New York who has joined the clandestine American Resistance." (Deadline.com)


NARCOS (Netflix; W: Carlo Bernard & Doug Miro; D: José Padilha) - Roberto Urbina is the latest to be cast in the upcoming drama, an all-new take on the amazing story of the Medellin Cartel, once the world's most ambitious and violent trafficking organization. He'll play Fabio Ochoa, "one of a trio of Colombian brothers, all playboy drug dealers, who's in the cocaine business with his brothers." Boyd Holbrook, Manolo Cardona, Pedro Pascal and Wagner Moura also star. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED DAVID MARSHALL GRANT PROJECT (ABC, New!) - David Marshall Grant ("Smash") has scored a put pilot commitment from the Alphabet for a new drama about "a tough, resourceful and at the top of her game type-A business woman, who has a medical scare, only to be dangerously misdiagnosed, and experiences first-hand the hazards of our healthcare system. Shocking her friends and family, she leaves her career behind, becoming instead a brilliant and relentless advocate for anyone caught in the chaotic and ever-changing maze that is modern medicine." Warner Bros. Television is behind the hour, with Vendetta Productions' Sheldon Turner and Jennifer Klein also executive producing. Byrdie Lifson-Pompan, whose life story inspired the project, and Valerie Ulene will also serving as consulting producers. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED JOHNNY KNOXVILLE PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Johnny Knoxville is developing a new project at the Alphabet described as "a Southern family comedy inspired by his unconventional childhood." ABC Studios is behind the half-hour which Knoxville is expected to narrate and executive produce via his Hello Junior! banner alongside 3 Arts Entertainment's Michael Rotenberg and Dave Becky. The search is underway for a writer. (Deadline.com)
