ID ROYALTY TAKES THE STAGE THIS SATURDAY AT ANNUAL TRUE CRIME FAN CONVENTION, IDCON

-Sold-Out #IDCon2018 Event to Take Place on Saturday, May 19 from 10am-5pm in New York City-

(New York, NY) - Investigation Discovery (ID) today announced the lineup full of super-sleuthing experiences and star-studded panels for IDCON 2018. Themed this year as COLD CASE CONFIDENTIAL, the network's third annual sold-out event for true crime fanatics is taking place this Saturday, May 19 at the iconic Altman Building in New York.

Esteemed journalist and host of ID's SCENE OF THE CRIME, Tony Harris will emcee the event for the second year in a row, bringing true-crime lovers behind the yellow tape of their favorite TV channel. Harris will lead fans throughout the day's jam-packed schedule, including exclusive panels headlined by beloved ID personalities, sneak peeks at upcoming programming, and one-of-a-kind interactive experiences.

IDCON's doors open at 9am with the day's festivities running from 10am-5pm. In addition to the panel lineup (below), attendees will have exclusive access to their favorite on-air personalities with two separate meet and greet sessions. Additionally, attendees can explore interactive experiences including: mug for the camera in the "Snapshots" photo booth;" snag some "ID Ink" from a (temporary) tattoo artist; test out the "Lie To Me" polygraph demonstration; enjoy a first-look at ID's "Red Crimes: Hidden Murders" mobile game; test eyewitness skills with the "I(D) Witness" experience; confess their love of ID in the "Truth Booth" for a chance to be featured on the network; explore the "Crime Board" featuring cold cases covered in ID's digital series STILL A MYSTERY; and more!

All $50 ticket sales for IDCON will be donated to New York's Silver Shield Foundation, an organization providing educational support to families of firefighters and police officers killed in the line of duty. ID Addicts unable to make the trip to New York can follow the network's social handles at Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and SnapChat for behind-the-scenes coverage, following #IDCon2018. Panels will be streamed at a later date at ID's TV Everywhere platform, IDGO.

The full IDCON panel lineup follows:

· Cold Case Confidential features ID's renowned investigators, including Chris Anderson (detective, REASONABLE DOUBT), Garry McFadden (detective, I AM HOMICIDE and BAD HENRY), Kris Mohandie (forensic psychologist, BREAKING HOMICIDE) and Derrick Levasseur (detective, BREAKING HOMICIDE). Moderated by ID correspondent and journalist Diane Dimond, this panel explores how perseverance is key in capturing criminals who have seemingly mastered evading the law... often for years.

· Catching Killers delves into what life is really like on the frontlines of seeking justice. Moderated by legal analyst Beth Karas, this panel features personal insight from across the law enforcement spectrum with Candice DeLong (former FBI profiler, DEADLY WOMEN), Rod Demery (detective, MURDER CHOSE ME), and Anna-Sigga Nicolazzi (prosecutor, TRUE CONVICTION).

· People Magazine Investigates: Cults: Featured in their upcoming world premiere series, PEOPLE's award-winning journalists dissect destructive and terrifying cults - and share insights into the crime investigations that exposed the twisted inner-workings of these secretive sects. Moderated by editor in chief, Jess Cagle, this panel includes those who investigated the evolution of these cults, including senior editor Alicia Dennis, staff writer Elaine Aradillas, and senior reporter Chris Harris.

· Get to Know Joe will round out the day's panels, featuring a "fireside chat" with Lt. Joe Kenda (HOMICIDE HUNTER). Emcee Tony Harris will sit down with Kenda for an exclusive, intimate discussion, for the first time putting Kenda on the other side of the interrogation table.
