ALL AMERICAN (The CW) - Jalyn Hall, who plays Spencer's (Daniel Ezra) little brother Dillon, has been promoted to series regular on the freshman drama. (Deadline.com)
CUL-DE-SAC (NBC, New!) - Writer Brian Sieve and director Larysa Kondracki are spearheading a serialized drama at the Peacock about "three families living in a suburban cul-de-sac who begin to experience terrifying events and come to realize there's something sinister invading their perfect middle-class dream." Blumhouse Television and Universal Television are behind the project, which is being eyed as an event series franchise under the umbrella "Blumhouse Presents." Magnet Management's Chris Mills and Zack Tann will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
LA'S FINEST (NBC) - Charter Communications and Sony Pictures TV are reportedly now in "serious negotiations" to pick up the former NBC pilot. (Deadline.com)
LAST MAN STANDING (FOX) - Alums Kevin Abbott, Matt Berry, Kevin Hench and Ed Yeager are all slated to return as executive producers for the show's seventh season revival on FOX. (Deadline.com)
LORE (Amazon) - Susanne Wuest is bound for the show's second season in an installment titled "Hinterkaifeck," "about a true unsolved murder which took place at a remote farmstead in Hinterkaifeck, Germany in 1922. She'll play Victoria Gruber, Andreas's daughter. She has a tense relationship with father and also served time for committing incest with him." (Deadline.com)
QUEEN OF THE SOUTH (USA) - Alfonso Herrera will recur on the upcoming season as Javier Gallegos, "a mercenary willing to kill for the highest bidder. His brash, untamed nature puts him at odds with his new boss: Teresa Mendoza (Alice Braga)." (THR.com)
RESIDENT ALIEN (Syfy, New!) - Chris Sheridan is looking to bring Peter Horgan and Steve Parkhouse's comic book series to the small screen. The drama, which has a pilot order, would follow "a crash-landed alien named Harry who, after taking on the identity of a small-town Colorado doctor, slowly begins to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his secret mission on Earth - ultimately asking the question, "Are human beings worth saving?"" Universal Cable Productions, Dark Horse Entertainment and Amblin TV are all behind the hour with Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank also set to executive produce. TOP GEAR (BBC America) - Matt LeBlanc is departing the series after the upcoming season, his fourth since joining in 2016. LeBlanc cited the "time commitment and extensive travel... takes me away from my family and friends more than I'm comfortable with." (BBC.com)
TRANSPLANT, THE (Sony Crackle, New!) - Evan Hart and Kyle Stephen are developing a new drama at the streaming service which "would follow an American surgeon who, after falsifying medical records to get his daughter an organ transplant, finds himself in Hong Kong. There he enters the dark and prosperous organ harvest trade, or the red market, operating under a very different set of procedures." No other auspices were given. (Variety.com)
