FBI/FBI: MOST WANTED (CBS) - Alana de la Garza, whose Assistant Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castile was set to star in the spin-off series, will instead join the cast of the mothership. She'll also continue on said spin-off on a recurring basis. (Deadline.com)
NOW, THE (Quibi, New!) - Peter Farrelly, Steve Leff and Pete Jones are set to team for a new comedy on the short-form video platform billed as "the story of a guy who is about to commit suicide when he finds out from his nagging mother that his brother just committed suicide - oh and his dad committed suicide in the past too. He can't kill himself because he can't do that to his mom so he has to learn to live life for today, in the now." Anonymous Content's Steve Golin and Jeff Okin also serve as executive producers. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED KINBERG & WEIL PROJECT (Apple TV+) - Simon Kinberg and David Weil's proposed drama has been further detailed as being inspired by the H.G. Wells novel "The War of the Worlds." Nevertheless, said report indicates "the concept has evolved enough that it won't be named after that famed public domain sci-fi property." (Deadline.com)
