Romantic Comedy Series 'Mr. Plankton' to Warm Hearts on November 8
This November 8, Netflix invites viewers to embark on a heartwarming journey with Mr. Plankton, a story filled with wanderlust, laughter, and tears. The romantic comedy series follows the story of Hae Jo, a man born from a mistake, and Jae-mi, the unluckiest woman in the world, who inadvertently accompanies him on the final journey of his life.
Directed by Hong Jong-chan (Juvenile Justice) and written by Jo Yong (It's Okay to Not Be Okay), the teaser poster and trailer present an exciting glimpse of the charming Woo Do-hwan (Bloodhounds, The Divine Fury) as Hae Jo and loveable Lee You-mi (Strong Girl Nam-soon, All of Us Are Dead, Squid Game) as Jae-mi.
In the teaser poster, Hae Jo and Jae-mi walk side by side, each wearing part of the same tracksuit set - Hae Jo in the pants and Jae-mi in the jacket. Yet the two gaze in opposite directions, maintaining a distance that hints at their complex relationship.
The teaser trailer begins with the shocking truths for both characters. Hae Jo discovers he has brain tumors and little time left to live, while Jae-mi experiences premature menopause when she is expected to give birth to a son. The two are revealed to be ex-lovers, and Hae Jo appears on Jae-mi's wedding day, either to steal her away or help her escape. Here enters Eo Heung (Oh Jung-se), Jae-mi's bewildered and adoring husband-to-be.
A drifting soul, a stolen bride, and one last ride. Seriously, what could go wrong? Join the journey with Mr. Plankton on November 8, only on Netflix.
