THE CW POSTS WEEK-TO-WEEK INCREASES IN KEY DEMOS

The CW Delivers Nov. Sweep-to-Date and Season-to-Date Gains over WB Last Year in Target Demos of Adults and Women 18-34

November 14, 2006 (Burbank, CA) - The CW scored week-to-week gains in the network's target demos, including 16% in women 18-34 (2.1/6) and 7% in adults 18-34 (1.6/5), for the week ending Nov. 12, 2006.

This week, The CW posted increases of 7% in adults 18-34 (1.6/5) and 5% in women 18-34 compared to The WB a year ago.

Through 10 days of the November 2006 Sweep (11/2/06-11/12/06), The CW is delivering sweep-to-sweep growth over The WB (through the same frame of the Nov. 2005 Sweep) by 7% in adults 18-34 (1.6/5) and 6% in women 18-34 (1.9/5). The CW matched UPN in sweep-to-sweep comparisons in adults 18-34.

For the season, The CW Network is up over The WB a year ago in the network's target demos of adults 18-34 (1.7/5, +6%) and women 18-34 (2.1/6, +5%). CW mirrors The WB's scheduling model with 6 nights and 13 hours of primetime programming. The CW was on par with UPN, which programmed 3 fewer primetime hours, in adults 18-34.

Wednesday 11/8/06

"America's Next Top Model" ranked second in the 8-9:00PM hour among adults 18-34 (3.2/9), women 18-34 (4.7/13) and women 18-49 (3.7/9), behind only ABC.

"One Tree Hill" beat an original "The OC" in their first head-to-head match-up in adults 18-49 (1.6/4), women 18-34 (3.0/7) and women 18-49 (2.1/5). "One Tree Hill" was second in the hour among teens (2.9/9), behind only "Lost."

The CW's Wednesday line-up recorded significant growth over both The WB and UPN on the same night a year ago (11/9/05). Compared to The WB, The CW was up 93% in adults 18-34 (2.7/7), 81% in women 18-34 (3.8/10), 91% in adults 18-49 (2.1/5), 81% in women 18-49 (2.9/7) and 68% in viewers (4.5mil). Versus UPN's Wednesday, The CW was up 29% in adults 18-34, 15% in women 18-34, 11% in adults 18-49 and 4% in viewers.

Friday 11/10/06

"Friday Night SmackDown" ranked second on Friday night from 8-10pm in men 18-34 (1.7/7) and first in teens (2.2/8).

Sunday 11/12/06

"7th Heaven" scored week-to-week gains in adults 18-34 (1.5/4, +7%) and women 18-34 (2.2/6, +10%).

Sunday's "Top Model" encore jumped 90% over its performance the previous week in women 18-34 (1.9/4) and 86% in adults 18-34 (1.3/3).
