Sunday's "Cold Case Special" is the Night's Top Program in Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49 (Tie)

CBS placed first in viewers for the second consecutive week and notched second place finishes in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the fifth straight week, according to Nielsen Live Plus same-day ratings for the week ending April 1, week 28 of the 2006-2007 television season.

CBS's victory was propelled by all first-run Thursday and Friday lineups with the Network winning every half-hour in viewers and key demographics on both nights, an NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Final Four fueled Saturday and Sunday's COLD CASE SPECIAL, the night's top program in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 (tie).

For the week in viewers, CBS (11.35m) topped FOX (10.40m), ABC (8.66m) and NBC (7.30m). Season-to-date in viewers, CBS (12.78m) is first followed by FOX (10.22m), ABC (9.81m), and NBC (9.34m).

For the week in households, CBS (7.3/12) was +16% ahead of FOX (6.3/11), +28% ahead of ABC (5.7/10) and +49% ahead of NBC (4.9/08). Season-to-date, CBS is first in households (8.1/13), outpacing ABC and FOX by +29% (6.3/10, each) and NBC by +35% (6.0/10).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in both adults 25-54 (4.1/11) and adults 18-49 (3.3/10). Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.9/10, -0.1 behind FOX).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

? SURVIVOR: FIJI was first in households (8.1/14), viewers (13.71m), adults 25-54 (5.5/15) and adults 18-49 (4.5/14). SURVIVOR: FIJI topped "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" by +29% in households (vs. 6.3/11), +41% in adults 25-54 (vs. 3.9/11), +22% in adults 18-49 (vs. 3.7/11) and by +3.12m viewers (vs. 10.59m, +29%).

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (14.0/22), viewers (22.71m), adults 25-54 (8.6/21) and adults 18-49 (7.2/19). Compared to the last first-run Thursday episode (2/22/07), CSI was up +8% in households (from 13.0/19), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 8.3/18), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 6.8/16) and added +910,000 viewers (from 21.80m, +4%).

? SHARK was first in households (9.6/17), viewers (14.49m), adults 25-54 (5.1/14) and adults 18-49 (4.1/12). SHARK has won its time period eight times in the last nine airings in both households and viewers and for the last three broadcasts in a row in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. Compared to the last first-run Thursday episode (2/22/07), SHARK was up +5% in both households (from 9.1/15) and adults 18-49 (from 3.9/10), even in adults 25-54 and added +280,000 viewers (from 14.21m, +2%).

? GHOST WHISPERER was first in households (6.2/12), viewers (9.36m), adults 25-54 (3.5/11) and adults 18-49 (2.7/10).

? CLOSE TO HOME was first in households (6.5/12), viewers (9.65m), adults 25-54 (3.1/09) and adults 18-49 (2.3/08). Compared to the last first run episode (3/9/07), CLOSE TO HOME was up +11% in adults 25-54 (from 2.8/08) and +15% in adults 18-49 (from 2.0/06).

? NUMB3RS was first in households (7.1/13), viewers (10.74m), adults 25-54 (4.1/12) and adults 18-49 (2.9/09). Compared to the last first run episode (3/9/07), NUMB3RS was up +3% in households (from 6.9/12), +14% in adults 25-54 (from 3.6/10), +16% in adults 18-49 (from 2.5/08) and added +390,000 (from 10.35m, +4%).

? CBS NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP BRIDGE SHOW (S) (8:10-8:39PM) scored a 7.4/15 with 11.95m viewers and 4.5/15 in adults 25-54, 4.2/16 in adults 18-49, 4.0/19 in adults 18-34, 6.1/20 in men 25-54, 5.6/21 in men 18-49 and 5.4/25 in men 18-34.

CBS NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY - 2 (S) (8.39-11:00PM) posted an 8.9/17 in households with 14.37m viewers and 5.4/16 in adults 25-54, 4.9/17 in adults 18-49, 4.6/18 in adults 18-34, 7.4/22 in men 25-54, 6.5/22 in men 18-49 and 6.1/24 in men 18-34. This is CBS's best delivery in this window in households, viewers, key men and key adult demos since 2005. CBS placed first in all key measures from 8:30-11:00PM.

? 60 MINUTES was first in households (7.5/14), viewers (11.61m), second in adults 25-54 (2.8/08) and adults 18-49 (2.0/07).

? COLD CASE 10PM SPECIAL (S) was first in households (8.4/14), viewers (13.23m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09).
