NEW YORK, July 10 -- Continuing its spectacularrecord-setting first year, Lifetime Television's "Army Wives," the most watched series in the network's 23-year history, seized the #1 spot on Sunday, July 8 among W25-54 for the sixth consecutive week during primetime (8-11PM) since its June 3 premiere.

The #1 new cable drama of the year among W18-34, W18-49 and W25-54, the critically acclaimed series also captured 3.5 million viewers along with a 3.1 household rating.

"Army Wives" continues to be a tremendous success online, with Monday traffic on LifetimeTV.com soaring 128% beyond regular daily visits to the show site. As well, "Army Wives" videos accounted for an impressive 47% of LifetimeTV.com total streams in June.

Also underscoring the remarkable water cooler buzz the series has generated in just six weeks, a recently conducted surveyby the respected polling firm ICR found that "Army Wives" is now the #1 favorite new cable series of the summer!*

Building upon the success of "Army Wives," Lifetime's summer strategy of debuting three new dramas for the same night in the same season continues on Sunday, July 15 when "Side Order of Life" and "State of Mind" premiere at 8PM (ET/PT) and 9PM (ET/PT), respectively.
