FOX WINS THE WEEK, RANKS #1 ON 5 OF 7 NIGHTS

AMERICAN IDOL Posts The #1 and #2 Shows Of The Week Among Adults 18-49

FOX Claims 10 of the Top 20 Shows Among Adults 18-34

FOX posted a strong weekly victory last week, topping the ratings among Adults 18-49 on 5 of 7 nights, and winning the week among Adults 18-34 and Teens. Averaging a 2.4/7 in the core adult demo, FOX beat the No. 2 network in Adults 18-49 (CBS) by +14% and dominated the No. 2 network among young adults (NBC) by +46% (1.9 vs. 1.3) last week.

Season to date, FOX remains No. 1 among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. Key highlights from last week include:

· AMERICAN IDOL Wednesday and Thursday were the No. 1 and No. 2 programs of the week among Adults 18-49 and outperformed NBC's "The Voice" for the fifth consecutive in both the core adult demo and Total Viewers.

· FOX ranked No. 1 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday among Adults 18-49 last week.

· FOX had 4 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 1), AMERICAN IDOL-Thurs (No. 2), NEW GIRL (No. 16) and GLEE (No. 18).

FOX ranked No. 1 on Tuesday night in Adults 18-49 (tie), Adults 18-34 and Teens. Among Adults 18-34, FOX outperformed the No. 2 network (NBC) by +47% for the night (2.8/9 vs. 1.9/6). In fact, FOX has now ranked No. 2 for 13 consecutive Tuesday nights among Adults 18-34.

At 8pm the return of GLEE posted 2.7/8 in Adults 18-49. In Adults 18-34 GLEE grew +4% from its rating for its last telecast. GLEE was the highest rated program of the night in Teens and No. 2 (tie) in Adults 18-34 behind NEW GIRL. GLEE won the 8pm hour in Adults 18-34, Women 18-49 and Teens and ranked No. 2 in Adults 18-49.

NEW GIRL followed at 9pm with a 2.8/7, up +22% from the previous week in Adults 18-49 and +32% in Adults 18-34 (3.3 vs. 2.5). NEW GIRL was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-34 and No. 2 in Teens behind GLEE. NEW GIRL won the 9pm half hour in Adults 18-34 and Teens and ranked No. 2 among Adults 18-49.

RAISING HOPE posted 1.8/5, up +13% from the previous week's 8pm airing among Adults 18-49 and +50% in Adults 18-34 (2.1 vs. 1.4). RAISING HOPE ranked No. 2 in its half hour among Adults 18-34 and Teens.

WEDNESDAY

8:00-10:00 AMERICAN IDOL: (Adults 18-49: 5.0/14, 16.8 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX won Wednesday night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and Teens. The network beat its nearest competitor for the night by +85% in Adults 18-49 (5.0 vs. 2.7 for CBS), +84% in Adults 18-34 (3.5 vs. 1.9 for ABC) and by +58% in Total Viewers (16.8 vs. 10.6 for CBS). FOX has now won 13 Wednesdays in a row in Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers.

The 'Top 7 Finalists Perform' telecast of AMERICAN IDOL delivered a 5.0/14, up +2% from the previous week (4.9) in Adults 18-49.

AMERICAN IDOL outperformed Monday's telecast of The Voice by the biggest margin yet and for the fifth week in a row among Adults 18-49 (+25%, 5.0 vs. 4.0), and beat Monday's The Voice for the first time this season among Adults 18-34. AMERICAN IDOL also outperformed The Voice for the fifth week in a row in Total Viewers (+60%, 16.8 vs. 10.5 Mil.)

AMERICAN IDOL was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and Teens and outperformed the No. 2 program of the night by +19% in Adults 18-49 (5.0 vs. 4.2 for Modern Family), +3% among Adults 18-34 (3.5 vs. 3.4 for Modern Family) and +42% in Total Viewers (16.8 vs. 11.8 Mil for Criminal Minds).

THURSDAY

FOX won Thursday night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens. FOX beat its nearest competitor for the night by +38% in Adults 18-49 (3.3 vs. 2.4 for CBS) and +40% in Adults 18-34 (2.1 vs. 1.5 for ABC) and +36% in Total Viewers (12.0 vs. 8.8 for CBS). FOX has now ranked No. 1 for 13 Thursdays in a row in Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

AMERICAN IDOL (1 of 7 voted off) posted a 4.3/13, up +10% from the previous week. AMERICAN IDOL was also up +10% versus the previous week in Total Viewers (15.8 vs. 14.3 Mil.).

AMERICAN IDOL was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens and outperformed the No. 2 program of the night in Adults 18-49 by +39% (4.3 vs. 3.1 for Big Bang Theory repeat at 9pm) and Total Viewers by +55% (15.8 vs. 10.2 Mil for Big Bang Theory repeat at 9pm).

AMERICAN IDOL results show bested both The Voice's performance show on Monday in Adults 18-49 (+8%, vs. 4.0/11) and its results show on Tuesday (+23% vs. 3.5/9) in Adults 18-49 and also in Total Viewers (+50% vs. The Voice performance, 15.8 vs. 10.5 Mil and +76% vs. The Voice results, 15.8 vs. 9.0 Mil).

AMERICAN IDOL won its 8pm hour in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and Total Viewers and outperformed its nearest competitors in the hour by +54% in Adults 18-49 (4.3 vs. 2.8 for Big Bang Theory rpt/Rules of Engagement) and +74% in Total Viewers (15.8 vs. 9.1 Mil for Big Bang Theory rpt/Rules of Engagement.)

At 9p TOUCH posted a 2.3/6, the same as the previous week among Adults 18-49 (4/5/12, 2.3/6), and was up +14% in Total Viewers (8.2 vs. 7.2 Mil).
