Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Tops Total Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (6/19/17):

NBC (5.362 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) was the network to beat on Monday with originals from "American Ninja Warrior" (5.797 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) and "Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge" (4.494 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3).

ABC (4.529 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was a close second with new episodes from "The Bachelorette" (5.858 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1) and "Still Star-Crossed" (1.872 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #11).

Next up was FOX (2.915 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) with fresh installments of "So You Think You Can Dance" (3.345 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) and "Superhuman" (2.485 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5).

Meanwhile, CBS (3.960 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) offered up repeats of "Kevin Can Wait" (4.325 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5), "Man with a Plan" (3.885 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5), "Mom" (4.205 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5), "Life in Pieces" (3.643 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #9) and "Scorpion" (3.851 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #10).

And finally, The CW (1.082 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the night with its mix of a repeat "Supergirl" (1.147 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T12), a new "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.980 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T12) and a repeat "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.053 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T12).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (6/20/16):

NBC (5.759 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) pulled into the top spot on Monday thanks to new episodes of "American Ninja Warrior" (6.334 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2) and "Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge" (4.610 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3).

ABC (5.683 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2) then was a close second with originals from "The Bachelorette" (7.004 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1) and "Mistresses" (3.042 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4).

Next up was CBS (3.981 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) with repeats of "Mom" (4.675 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4), "2 Broke Girls" (4.062 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4) and "Scorpion" (4.156 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #8) plus a new "BrainDead" (3.420 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #9).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.509 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) offered up fresh installments from "So You Think You Can Dance" (3.209 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4) and "Houdini & Doyle" (1.809 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #10).

And finally, The CW (1.023 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the night with the season finale of "Reign" (0.987 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T11) followed by a new "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"
