Monday's Broadcast Ratings: "The Voice," "Manifest" Put NBC on Top

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (10/1/18):

[EDITOR'S NOTE: ABC's Monday lineup was preempted for local NFL coverage in the Kansas City market.]

NBC (9.456 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1) kicked off week two of the TV season on top with new episodes of "The Voice" (9.944 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1) and "Manifest" (8.481 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2).

FOX (5.454 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was the silver draw with fresh installments from "The Resident" (4.820 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6) and "9-1-1" (6.089 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3).

Next up was ABC (7.380 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T3) with its second week of "Dancing with the Stars" (7.321 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8) and "The Good Doctor" (7.499 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #5).

Meanwhile, CBS (6.651 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T3) offered up the premieres of "The Neighborhood" (8.074 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4) and "Happy Together" (5.930 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6) plus originals from "Magnum P.I." (6.315 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8) and "Bull" (6.635 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #10).

And finally, the season finales of "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (1.169 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #11) and "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.716 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12) plus a repeat "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.632 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12) rounded out the night on The CW (0.922 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/4; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.3/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/4 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households and a 0.2/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (8.979 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1) held onto the demo crown on Monday with week two of "The Voice" (10.791 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.5, #2) and "The Brave" (5.355 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #8).

ABC (10.173 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2) then was a close second with new episodes from "Dancing with the Stars" (9.516 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T4) and "The Good Doctor" (11.490 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.4, #3).

Next up was CBS (7.404 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3) with a new "The Big Bang Theory" (13.660 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.0, #1), the premiere of "9JKL" (8.305 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T4) and fresh installments from "Kevin Can Wait" (6.768 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.4, #7), "Me, Myself & I" (5.197 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #10) and "Scorpion" (5.246 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #11).

Meanwhile, FOX (4.363 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4) offered up the return of "Lucifer" (3.877 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.1, #9) and the debut of "The Gifted" (4.849 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.5, #6).

And finally, repeats of "Supergirl" (0.912 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12) and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" (0.593 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12) on The CW (0.753 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) rounded out the night.
