(from HGTV's press release, June 2012) All American Handyman, HGTV's competition to prove who is the best non-professional handyman or woman in the nation, returns for a third season. DIY Network's Anitra Mecadon hosts the six-episode series in which the contestants do their best to show judges Mike Holmes (HGTV's Holmes on Homes) and Scott McGillivray (HGTV's Income Property) that they have what it takes to repair and build just about anything—from odd jobs to serious construction. In the end, only one competitor will nail the title of All American Handyman, walk away with a $10,000 Sears shopping spree and win an HGTV development deal.
