(from Sundance's press release, February 2010) Sundance Channel EVP and GM Sarah Barnett today unveiled a slate of new design-inspired series in development for Sundance Channel as well as four original series in development for the network's multiplatform strand Full Frontal Fashion. Sundance Channel has also greenlit a second season of its acclaimed documentary series "Brick City." Produced by award-winning actor Forest Whitaker and acclaimed filmmakers Marc Levin and Mark Benjamin, the second season of "Brick City" promises to be another dramatic and no-holds-barred look at the immense challenges facing the city of Newark, NJ. Through the lens of local characters, including Newark's charismatic mayor, Cory Booker, the filmmakers will look at the issues that continue to confront a city undergoing tremendous change.
