DESCRIPTION:
(from Lifetime's press release, January 2018) Following a ground-breaking first season and named one of the most critically acclaimed shows of 2017, Lifetime's compelling and provocative drama series Mary Kills People about an ER doctor who serves as an angel of death helping people die with dignity, returns March 12, at 9pm ET/PT, joining UnREAL as part of Lifetime's premium scripted block. UnREAL debuts February 26 at 10pm, featuring a female suitress, while thriller Mary Kills People hits the air two weeks later. Starring Caroline Dhavernas, Jay Ryan and Richard Short, the second season of Mary Kills People also features guest stars Rachelle Lefevre and Ian Lake. A full season one marathon of Mary Kills People will air on Lifetime Movies (LMN) from 6pm ET/PT - 12am ET/PT on Sunday, March 11. Picking up eight months after Mary (Dhavernas) and Des (Short) framed Grady (Greg Bryk) for the deaths of their patients, Des is happy to reteam with Mary following his stint in prison, but Mary questions whether she was better off fighting the good fight without him. As they dive deeper and darker into their illegal work, a mysterious woman, Olivia Bloom (Lefevre), comes to them with a deadly request, unleashing a chain of events that unfolds throughout the season. Mary's personal and professional lives come to a head when Ben (Ryan) returns, knee-deep in a complicated undercover case. Ben's investigation will collide with Mary's criminal descent, forcing Mary to decide whether to come clean once and for all.
