DESCRIPTION:
(from Disney+'s web site, September 2022) The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers tells a new story about youth sports today. Crazy pressure from parents, kids specializing too early, and being told if they’re not ready to go pro by age 12, DON’T BOTHER. The Ducks have evolved from underdogs to an ultra-competitive youth hockey powerhouse. After Evan Morrow is cut, he and his mom Alex (Lauren Graham) start their own team, a group of “Don’t Bothers” – kids who are too small or slow or just don’t buy into this modern sports culture. With the help of Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez) they rediscover the joys of playing for the love of the game. Season 2 takes us to an intense hockey camp run by Colin Cole (Josh Duhamel), a charming yet hardcore former NHL player. As our team tries to survive, they’re faced with the question: Can you win summer?
