(from AMC Networks' press release, June 2021) Summer is heating up on AMC+, the company's premium streaming bundle, with a robust lineup of new original series and exclusive specials in July, including the world premiere of the five-part AMC+ Original drama The North Water, from See-Saw Films, and Rhombus Media, distributed internationally by BBC Studios, starring BAFTA-winner Jack O'Connell (Unbroken, Godless), Golden Globe(R)-winning actor Colin Farrell (In Bruges, True Detective), and SAG Award-winner Stephen Graham (Line of Duty, Boardwalk Empire), on Thursday, July 15. The North Water is an immersive drama based on the critically acclaimed, best-selling novel by Ian McGuire, and adapted and directed by Andrew Haigh (45 Years, Looking).
