On May 31, season 2 of POWERS, the PlayStation(R) original series from Sony Pictures Television, premieres on PlayStation(R)Network in the United States and Canada. Co-created by acclaimed Marvel writer Brian Michael Bendis and helmed by showrunner and respected genre writer Remi Aubuchon (Falling Skies), POWERS is the first scripted television series to air on PlayStation Network. The first three episodes of the season will be available at 12:01 PM PT, with subsequent episodes releasing each week. This announcement was made today on PlayStation.Blog, accompanied by a new story trailer. The 10-episode season will be available for free* to PlayStation Plus members. Season 2 features a stellar cast, starring Sharlto Copley (District 9) as Detective Christian Walker and Susan Heyward (Vinyl) as Detective Deena Pilgrim. Several new faces will also make their POWERS debut, including Michael Madsen (The Hateful Eight), Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica), Enrico Colantoni (Veronica Mars) and Wil Wheaton (The Big Bang Theory), alongside the returning favorites Olesya Rulin (High School Musical), Justice Leak (Supergirl), Logan Browning (Hit The Floor), and Michelle Forbes (Orphan Black).
