(from PBS's press release, December 2016) THE VICTORIAN SLUM (w.t.) - As in classic series like COLONIAL HOUSE and FRONTIER HOUSE, a group of modern-day people will move into a re-created Victorian slum in London's East End to experience life as their ancestors did 150 years ago. As participants work to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table, they will live through five decades of turbulent history and social change. Tuesdays, May 2-30, 8-9 p.m. ET
