SHUDDER DROPS NEW TRAILER FOR "THE BOULET BROTHERS' DRAGULA: RESURRECTION" PREMIERING OCTOBER 20

Today, Shudder released the trailer for The Boulet Brothers' Dragula: Resurrection, premiering exclusively on the horror streaming service in all its territories, as well as via the Shudder offering within the AMC+ bundle, beginning Tuesday, October 20.

Dubbed one of the "15 best LGBTQ shows everyone needs to watch" by Cosmopolitan and "required horror viewing" by Fangoria, The Boulet Brothers' Dragula has taken both queer and horror audiences by storm. The Boulet Brothers' Dragula: Resurrection presents drag in a unique feature-length format, blending both cinematic and documentary style content with reality competition.

Hosted and judged by series creators The Boulet Brothers, the innovative, two-hour film - part horror movie, part documentary and part reality competition - marks the first spin-off of the groundbreaking The Boulet Brothers' Dragula series and the first time that competitors from all three seasons of the show will return to compete against one another, including Frankie Doom (season 1), Loris (season 1), Kendra Onixxx (season 2), Dahli (season 2), Victoria Elizabeth Black (season 2), Priscilla Chambers (season 3), and Saint (formerly St. Lucia, of season 3). The winner of the competition will be "resurrected" and will return to compete on the upcoming Boulet Brothers' Dragula season 4 as a main competitor, and will also walk away with a twenty thousand dollar cash prize. Additional cast details can be found below.

The Boulet Brothers' Dragula: Resurrection is written, produced, and co-directed by the Boulet Brothers with Executive Producer David Sigurani and director Nathan Noyes.

The Boulet Brothers

The Boulets Brothers are drag icons, television personalities, filmmakers, and producers. Their projects have included horror-themed TV series and films, live nightlife events, books, and comics. The duo, known individually as Dracmorda and Swanthula, are celebrated modern day horror hosts, seen as the preeminent voices in the genre. Outside of their television projects, the Boulets appear regularly as featured guests, performers and emcees at horror conventions, nightclubs and live events all over the globe. They are hosts of the haunting podcast Creatures of the Night for Dread Central, interviewing notable guests at the intersection of LGBTQIA+ media and horror. Contrary to their provocative drag alter ego, they are not brothers, but partners who have been a couple for over a decade.

The Boulet Brothers are the creators, hosts, judges and producers of The Boulet Brothers' Dragula series and it's first film spinoff The Boulet Brothers' Dragula: Resurrection.

Priscilla Chambers

Priscilla Chambers is a trans drag artist from Asheville, North Carolina. Priscilla competed on season 3 of The Boulet Brothers' Dragula and placed third, coming heel-length to winning the entire competition. While appearing on the third season, Priscilla presented and identified in her regular life as a man, but shared that after her experience on the show she had the strength to embrace her identity as a transgender woman.

Her appearance on The Boulet Brothers' Dragula: Resurrection will be the first time she has presented publicly as a woman since beginning her transition. She is using her appearance on the show as a platform to champion trans rights, and at the same time hopes to win after coming so close in season 3.

Victoria Elizabeth Black

Victoria Black is a professional special effects makeup artist and haunt attraction designer who lives and works in Orlando, Florida. Victoria is regarded as one of the most talented special effects makeup artists working in drag today and was the runner up on The Boulet Brothers' Dragula season 2.

Victoria was often criticized for being shy and quiet during her season, and her lack of enthusiasm as a potential winner and spokesperson for the show was noted as a contributing factor to her loss. After her loss, Victoria was diagnosed with having Asperger Syndrome, and has pushed to counter her autism spectrum disorder and find her voice. She is returning to The Boulet Brothers' Dragula: Resurrection feeling empowered and believes she is more ready to reign after coming so close. Out of all of the drag artists competing, Victoria is regarded by the other competitors as the powerhouse to beat.

Saint

Saint is a drag queen who lives and works in the small southern town of Acworth, Georgia. Saint competed on season 3 of The Boulet Brothers' Dragula and was considered a "baby queen" on her season as she was new to drag and had the least experience. Saint was an early out on her season, and feels that being doubted by the entire cast contributed to her "psyching herself out" and performing poorly on the show. She is quoted as saying that being attacked by fellow castmate (and established drag icon) Maddelynn Hatter on the first episode destroyed her mentally, and considered the attack to be her downfall.

Since being sent home, Saint has traveled the world as a drag performer and feels she has mastered her craft to become a much more compelling drag artist. She has recently been invigorated by an emotional experience speaking at the George Floyd memorial in NYC and is returning to the competition stronger than ever. She reflects on her experiences living through this year's civil rights uprising during The Boulet Brothers' Dragula: Resurrection and shares the story of how she has grown into her identity as Saint and plans to use that confidence in the competition.

Kendra Onixxx

Kendra Onixxx is a drag queen who lives and works in Moreno Valley, California. Kendra is quoted as saying she is "unapologetically black" and expresses her heritage in her drag and performance. Kendra served as a soldier in the U.S. Army for eleven years before becoming a drag performer, and currently works as a nurse at a retirement home. Kendra's family are devout Christians and do not know that she moonlights as a drag performer.

Kendra is a fire-breathing performer who often incorporates fire in her performances. Earlier this year, her face was badly burned in a horrific stage accident. which she reflects on during The Boulet Brothers' Dragula: Resurrection. She intends on performing with fire on the show for the first time since her accident as a way to overcome her anxiety about what happened to her. An early elimination on The Boulet Brothers' Dragula season 2, Kendra feels she has a lot more to show and is returning to the competition ready to fight fire with fire.

Dahli

Dahli is a non-binary drag artist who works and lives in Phoenix, Arizona and is a former member of the electronic music group Blood On The Dancefloor. Dahli's drag is reflective of changing attitudes towards gender in society, presenting as neither male or female in their costumes and performances. Dahli has recently become more vocal about their biracial identity (their mother is Caucasian and their father is Black) and was inspired to do so by the recent Black Lives Matter movement.

Dahli competed on The Boulet Brothers' Dragula season 2, and despite scoring high, they threw the competition and left the show early under mysterious circumstances. Dahli reflects on the reasons and consequences of this decision in The Boulet Brothers Dragula: Resurrection, and seeks to win this competition as a redemption for their earlier loss.

Frankie Doom

Frankie Doom is a drag queen who lives and works in West Covina, California. She competed and placed third in the first season of The Boulet Brothers' Dragula and has been working to perfect her craft since then. While often regarded as "messy" or "punk" in her performance and style, Frankie has spent the last few years since competing on the show developing her special effects makeup skills and is coming back to The Boulet Brothers' Dragula: Resurrection with a vengeance.

Loris

Loris competed on the original season of The Boulet Brothers' Dragula and is quick to remind everyone of that fact. She is considered to be one of the most controversial contenders ever to compete on the show, and her sharp tongue drew the ire of the entire cast by the end of her season. She was removed from the competition not by the show's judges but by the cast who came together to "vote" her off when they were asked "who should go home" during a judging panel. Loris feels her removal was unfair and returns to The Boulet Brothers' Dragula: Resurrection considering this her chance at redemption and revenge.
