(from Starz's press release, May 2024) STARZ has announced the date of Friday, July 5, and released first-look images for the groundbreaking new docu-series, "Down in the Valley," hosted by the dynamic and iconic Nicco Annan ("P-Valley"). These photos offer just a glimpse into the captivating stories Annan explores with our sizzling Southern warriors. Additionally, STARZ has also released an enticing teaser trailer unveiling the power of resilience and the inspirational beauty of the human spirit as they confront brutal realities head-on. For six 30-minute episodes, the audience will dive into the fascinating duality of the Deep South from a kaleidoscopic marginalized lens starting Friday, July 5 at midnight ET on the STARZ app, and on linear, it will debut on STARZ at 9:00 PM ET/PT in the U.S. and 10:00 PM ET in Canada. "Down in the Valley" will pull back the curtain on the surprising but always intriguing people and places that make the Deep South a place where anything can happen and usually does. |
