"Episode 310" - Witness the all-new and exciting makeovers of Michael, a 38-year-old deputy sheriff from Huntington Beach, CA, and Tess, a 44-year-old human resources manager from Orlando, FL, on "Extreme Makeover," THURSDAY, JANUARY 6, airing in its new time (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Michael and Tess were given a life changing experience, as they were able to change their looks in an effort to transform their lives and destinies and to make their dreams come true. This was all accomplished through the skills of an "Extreme Team," including plastic surgeons, eye surgeons and cosmetic dentists, along with a talented team of hair and makeup artists, stylists and personal trainers. Participants recuperate at the "Makeover Mansion," the new luxurious mansion tucked away in the Hollywood Hills, CA, complete with stunning views, a swimming pool, fully equipped home gym and big screen televisions.

Michael, a Los Angeles Police deputy sheriff and former U.S. national couples figure skater, has endured both physical and emotional pain as a result of his years of police work and pursuing his Olympic dreams. Michael was an alternate in the 1992 U.S. Olympic team and once ranked third in the nation, but his eleven years as a national figure skater took a major toll on his body. Nowadays he's skating solo and chasing criminals, which has resulted in numerous broken bones -- such as his nose, which has been fractured five times. His ex-fiancie recently broke off their engagement just days before their wedding, leaving Michael heartbroken. While doing time at the makeover mansion, his ex-fiancie surprises him with a phone call and delivers some stunning news. Michael turns to the Extreme Team to give him the chance to mend his broken down body and spirit and to score a perfect 10 once again.

Maria "Tess" (44) is a human resources manager and a single mother to her three children, Benjamin (22), Trevor (20) and Lorne (17). Multiple pregnancies and a large cesarean section scar ruined the body of this former beauty pageant queen. The Extreme Team now gives Tess the opportunity to regain the beauty that once accompanied her indestructible spirit. As Tess is a Filipina, the Extreme Team works with her to accomplish her makeover dreams despite the challenges she faces with the concerns of ethnic plastic surgery. In the most spectacular reveal of the season, witness how she is transformed into a princess at the Walt Disney World Polynesian Resortin Florida.
