OF "COLD CASE," ON A SPECIAL NIGHT AND TIME,
FRIDAY, JAN. 7 AT 10:00 PM
"Lovers Lane" -- When DNA evidence reveals the wrong man has been serving time for the 1986 murder of 15-year-old Eve Kendall, Rush and Valens re-open the case and discover the teenager was the object of affection of several men, on a rebroadcast of the first-season finale of COLD CASE, on a special night and time, Friday, Jan. 7 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Nelson McCormick directed the episode from a script by one of the series executive producers Meredith Stiehm. (Originally broadcast 5/23/04)
The investigation initially leads to Mark Adams, Eve's former boyfriend. Though Mark professes his innocence and is eventually dismissed as a suspect, he's clearly still in love with Eve and has an immediate connection with Lilly, who bears a striking resemblance to the dead girl. After speaking with Eve's mother and several of her old friends, the detectives find out crucial information about Eves final days, leading them closer to finding the person who may have killed her.
