Academy Award-Winner Martin Landau Reprises His Role as Jack's Father
"John Michaels" -- The team searches for a 71-year-old man who was last seen getting into a car with two men who arrived as he was about to jump off the roof of his building, on WITHOUT A TRACE, Thursday, May 12 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The episode was directed and written by Hank Steinberg, series creator and one of the series' executive producers.
Academy Award winner Martin Landau reprises his role as Jack's father, Frank Malone.
The team wonders if it is significant that the missing retired insurance claims investigator recently tried to make amends with his ex-wife and attempted to convince his older daughter, a stripper, to leave that lifestyle behind her. Among their suspects are the sleazy employer/boyfriend of his daughter and an angry policy holder who went bankrupt after being denied insurance money. Meanwhile, Jack's team members and boss confront him with their concerns about his obvious lack of sleep and unusual vehemence about this case.
