OF "THE KING OF QUEENS," MONDAY, SEPT. 12
"Slippery Slope" -- Carrie becomes upset with Doug when she discovers that a plasma TV was the real motive behind their romantic getaway to the mountains, on a rebroadcast of THE KING OF QUEENS, Monday, Sept. 12 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Rob Schiller directed the script written by Chris Downey and Rock Reuben. (Originally broadcast 5/4/05)
Doug's true intentions are revealed when he explains that in order to take advantage of the all expenses paid ski weekend, and receive the complimentary gift of a plasma TV, he and Carrie must attend a four-hour sales pitch for a timeshare. Carrie begs Doug not to fall victim to the ruthless sales rep's presentation, but is shocked to discover that she herself is quite susceptible to their persuasive pitch. Meanwhile, Danny and Spence pose as a gay couple in order to qualify for the free ski weekend and get their own free plasma TV.
