JULIA ROBERTS WEEKEND ON NBC CONTINUES - This spirited romantic comedy re-teams "Pretty Woman's" two-time Golden Globe nominee Richard Gere ("An Officer and a Gentleman"), three-time Golden-Globe nominee Julia Roberts ("Pretty Woman") and director Emmy nominee Garry Marshall ("Mork & Mindy," "Orange County") in this "runaway" comedy where Gere stars as a down-and-out, big-city newspaper reporter hoping to save his tarnished career by chasing a story about a small-town girl (Roberts) -- known as the "Runaway Bride" - due to her habit of leaving her husbands-to-be at the altar.
