Reverend Daniel Webster's (Aidan Quinn) relief is short-lived when he learns the stolen school funds have been recovered, but only under the condition that Vaporelli Construction, rumored to be linked to the Mob, is hired to complete the project. Later, Roger (Dylan Baker) urges Daniel to appeal to the Vaporelli brothers as businessmen to explain why it isn't good business for the church to be connected to the Mob. Meanwhile, Judith's (Susanna Thompson) blue-blooded heritage - and viable explanation for her mid-day martini habit - is revealed when she spars with her sharp-tongued mother Helen (guest star Marian Seldes) over who exactly owns the Webster's house. Elsewhere, Grace (Alison Pill) is officially out-ed as a talented Manga artist. Christian Campbell, Ivan Shaw, Garret Dillahunt and Ellen Burstyn also star.
