"Is She Really Going Out with Him?" -- Alex attempts to keep her budding relationship with Scott a secret from her father, Bill, who rants to Scott, Alex and anyone who will listen that Scott is persona non grata, on COURTING ALEX, Monday, Jan. 30 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Mark Cendrowski directed the episode written by Seth Kurland, one of the series' co-executive producers.

Alex feels both empowered by and guilty about deceiving Bill, who despises Scott for ruining a multi-million dollar deal for Bill's law firm by refusing to sell his tavern. Meanwhile, Alex is torn about how to respond when a Manhattan magazine wants to feature her in an article as one of the city's 10 most eligible professional singles.
