The Webster family is wracked with grief when Peter Webster (Christian Campbell) is brutally gay-bashed, hospitalized and his prognosis is uncertain. Illustrated through flashback, the family finds itself in the same place it was two years ago near the end of Peter's twin brother's (Campbell as Jimmy Webster) battle with leukemia, and the possibility of losing another son proves to be too painful. Meanwhile, the Rev. Daniel Webster (Aidan Quinn) must confront another demon after the Vaporelli brothers arrange a meeting between the priest and one of Peter Webster's assailants. Susanna Thompson, Alison Pill, Garret Dillahunt, Roger Paxton and Ellen Burstyn also star.
