"Gambling N'Diction" -- When Doug's mom beats he and the guys in a friendly game of poker, Doug sees an opportunity to capitalize on her poker skills and help him win a high stakes poker tournament, on a rebroadcast of THE KING OF QUEENS, Monday July 3 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. After convincing his mom they could make a fortune, Doug and his mom set off on a series of smaller poker games in order to come up with the $1,000 buy-in to play in the high stakes game. Meanwhile, when a job promotion becomes available, Carrie's boss tells her that she would have a better chance of landing the job if she could lose her accent. Carrie hesitantly agrees to let Spence, who proclaims to be a speech coach, help her lose her thick accent. Although after several difficult sessions, both Carrie and Spence realize this is going to be tougher than they expected.
