JIM TOUGHENS UP SIX-YEAR-OLD KYLE, ON THE SIXTH SEASON PREMIERE OF ABC�S �ACCORDING TO JIM�

Emmy nominated �According to Jim� returns for its sixth hilarious season, premiering WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 3 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Editors Note: �According to Jim� will air in back-to-back episodes from 8:00-9:00 p.m., ET, Jan. 3, 10 & 17, and will move to its regular Wednesday 8:30 p.m. time slot on Jan. 24.

In this earthy family comedy, Jim (Jim Belushi) is the macho �Everyman� who challenges his gorgeous and feisty wife, Cheryl (Courtney Thorne-Smith), with his stubborn manliness but contagious charm. Included in this cozy family are their three precocious kids, Ruby (Taylor Atelian), Gracie (Billi Bruno) and Kyle (Conner Rayburn). Tagging along are Cheryl�s siblings, Dana, now happily married and very pregnant, and Andy, still searching for the perfect woman.

In the season premiere, �The Punch,� Jim thinks Cheryl has turned Kyle into a mama�s boy and doesn�t approve. He takes the reigns and teaches Kyle how to become a �man� by teaching him to throw the perfect punch to defend himself against the school bully. However Kyle enjoys his new punching skills so much that he gets suspended for repeatedly hitting the other kid.

�According to Jim� stars Jim Belushi as Jim, Courtney Thorne- Smith as Cheryl, Kimberly Williams- Paisley as Dana, Larry Joe Campbell as Andy, Taylor Atelian as Ruby, Billi Bruno as Gracie and Conner Rayburn as Kyle.

Guest starring are Marc Russo as Mike Murphy and Tammy Townsend as Mrs. Crawford.
