PRO BOWL SAYS ALOHA TO CBS SPORTS FOR FIRST TIME IN 35 YEARS
"THE NFL ON CBS" Presents NFL's Pro Bowl from Hawaii on Saturday, Feb. 10

For the first time since 1972, CBS Sports broadcasts the NFL PRO BOWL live from Honolulu, Hawaii on Saturday, Feb. 10 (6:00 PM, ET). The game marks the ninth time in the CBS Television Network's history that it broadcasts the Pro Bowl with the first being in 1964, followed by the next six years from 1965 to 1970, then '72.
CBS Sports' Greg Gumbel, Dan Dierdorf, Phil Simms and Shannon Sharpe call the action from Aloha Stadium. Gumbel, Dierdorf and Simms form a three-man booth, and Sharpe roams the sidelines during the game. Mark Wolff produces and Bob Fishman directs the Pro Bowl.

Following is a brief look back at the 1972 Pro Bowl which was played on January 23 at Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles in front of a crowd of 53,647:
AFC 26 -- NFC 13
Kansas City's Jan Stenerud kicked four field goals to lead the AFC from a 6-0 deficit to victory. The AFC defense picked off three passes. Stenerud was selected as the outstanding offensive player and his Kansas City teammate, linebacker Willie Lanier, was the game's outstanding defensive player.
