"FAST CARS & SUPERSTARS � GILLETTE YOUNG GUNS CELEBRITY RACE"
"Episode 107" -- It's the one-hour Season Finale, celebrity motor sports' night of nights, and this inaugural competition has come down to this -- a final, no holds barred, winner takes all event. The finalists will be drafted by a Gillette Young Gun, who will mentor, coach and strategize their path to victory. The Superstars will drive their own finely tuned, 650 horsepower beast through a pit crew challenge time trial, adding the final thrilling component to this authentic stock car racing experience. In the dramatic conclusion, six Superstars will race-off to be the first to lift the championship trophy, on "Fast Cars & Superstars -- Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race," SUNDAY, JUNE 24 (7:00-8:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Celebrity racers are singer Jewel, actor William Shatner, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, actress Krista Allen, seven-time World All-Around Rodeo Champion Ty Murray, former NBA Champion John Salley, former NFL Super Bowl Champion John Elway, World Wrestling Entertainment Champion John Cena, tennis star Serena Williams, volleyball great and model Gabrielle Reece, legendary surfer Laird Hamilton and former NFL Super Bowl-winning Head Coach Bill Cowher.
The Gillette Young Guns are Jimmie Johnson, Ryan Newman, Carl Edwards, Kasey Kahne, Kurt Busch and Jamie McMurray.
"Fast Cars & Superstars � Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race" is hosted by ESPN anchor Kenny Mayne and co-hosted by former Cleveland Cavaliers center and current ESPN NASCAR analyst Brad Daugherty.
"Fast Cars & Superstars � Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race" was co-created by BBDO and Gillette and produced by Radical Media. The series will be broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format with 5.1-channel surround sound.
